Wilhelmina J. Petrillo's Obituary
Wilhelmina "Willa" J. Petrillo, 85, of Clearwater, FL passed away Friday, November 28, 2025 under hospice care. Wilhelmina was born July 13, 1940 in North Clinton, North Carolina to Rev. Ranton H. and Mary Lou (Britt) Jackson, who have preceded her in death. Willa dedicated her career to teaching, starting in West Palm Beach, FL and moving over to Clearwater to teach microbiology at St. Petersburg Junior College - now St. Petersburg College for 35 years.
She is survived by a son, Alan Petrillo; her life partner of 57 years, Chuck Nichols; 2 sisters, Constance "Connie" Humphreys, Carolyn Ruth Hopkin (Scott) and 1 grandson, Jason Lankford.
A celebration of life gathering will be Friday, December 5, 2025, 2:00PM-4:00PM at the funeral home, 693 S. Belcher Rd, Clearwater, FL 33764. In lieu of flowers, please make donatins to WEDU PBS, public television. https://www.wedu.org/support/donate/
