William B. Barber's Obituary
The family of William B. Barber of Clearwater, Florida is saddened to announce his passing on Saturday August 31, 2024 at the age of 73. Bill was a lifelong resident of Clearwater, FL and was a graduate of Clearwater High School, class of 1969. He attended The Citadel where he played football and later graduated from the School of Business at Florida State University. Bill worked as a Division Manager at Lorillard Tobacco/ITG where he retired in 2017 after 38 years. He was a lifelong avid golfer and lover of football and baseball. He loved spending time with his family and friends and was a beloved husband, dad and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Gertrude ‘Babe’ Barber. Bill is survived by his brother Jim Barber, wife Patrice Barber, sons William Barber II (Tiffany) and Jason Barber (Marie) and his four grandchildren Taylor, Liam, Clayton & Mason Barber. Services will be held at 10:00am at Harborside Chapel located at 2100 Marshall Street Safety Harbor, FL. 34695 on 09/13/2024 followed by a celebration of life at Countryside County Club from 2pm-6pm, located at 3001 Countryside Blvd. Clearwater, FL. 33761.
