William H. Beehler's Obituary
William H. Beehler, 87, of Largo, FL passed away at home Friday, July 14, 2023. He was born August 11, 1935 in Clarkson, NY to George and Anna (Nodecker) Beehler. He is predeceased by his loving wife of 58 years, Ruth (O’Connor) Beehler. William is survived by his sister, Betty (Richard) Brundage.
He is also survived by his 3 sons, Michael (Karla), Timothy (Carol) and George; 5 grandchildren, Mark (Karrie), Brian (Justin), Charlotte (David), Christopher (Thomas) and Katie; 5 great-grandchildren, Brielle, Brennan, Claire, Anne and Reese. Bill served in the US Army during the Korean War. Upon his return, he was part owner of Anbe Equipment in East Rochester, NY. He then worked at SUNY Brockport before selling insurance with Northcrest Insurance in Brockport, NY. In 1990, he and Ruth moved to Florida where he continued working until the age of 84. He took pride in his work where his last job at Houle Industries. He maintained antique cars and tractors; his favorite being John Deere.
Bill loved to tell stories and many of his friends enjoyed listening to them. Family and Faith were extremely important in his life. He loved his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and spending time with them.
