William "Bill" M Bambarger's Obituary
We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of William (Bill) M. Bambarger Jr., aged 58, on 14 June 2023. Bill was born on 7 September 1964 to parents William Sr. and Charlotte in Baltimore, Maryland. After graduating from Calvert Hall, he earned a degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and had a successful career as a certified public accountant and CFO of multiple major corporations in the Baltimore metropolitan area prior to moving to Dunedin, Florida where he enjoyed family time and his love for the beach.
Bill is survived by his parents Bill Sr. and Charlotte Bambarger; children, Matthew (Katherine) Bambarger, Lauren (Michael) Coco, and Kimberly Bambarger; grandchildren, Jackson and Madelyn; sisters Cindy (John) Beil, nephew and godchild Zachary Beil, niece Kylie Beil and Kathy (Gary) Scharf, niece and godchild Reagan Scharf and nephew Ryan Scharf.
He was famous, or infamous, for his engaging personality, humor, and sharp wit, and always brought levity to even the most serious of situations. He was overjoyed when Baltimore got back its lost football team in 1996 and shared his love of the Ravens with his friends and family. He loved eating, cooking, and grilling, and, like any good Marylander, he never turned down an opportunity to dig into a pile of steamed crabs and would often ship crabs to Dunedin so he could still enjoy them with his parents.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday June 20th from 1-3 pm, with a memorial service at 3 pm, located at Moss Feaster Funeral Home, 1320 Main St, Dunedin, FL 34698, In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations in Bill's Memory may be made to your local animal shelter in honor of bills love for animals!
