William (Bill) Bertram Wood's Obituary
William (Bill) Bertram Wood, 56, passed away on June 10th, 2021. A beloved son and brother, he is forever remembered by his parents, Raymond and Christine Wood, and two siblings: a brother Raymond Wood and a sister Elizabeth Wood. He grew up in Clearwater, Florida and graduated from Clearwater High School with honors. In his youth, he was a proud member of the Clearwater Tornadoes football and wrestling teams with varsity letters. He later attended the University of Florida and graduated with a Bachelor's degree from the College of Business Administration at the University of South Florida Tampa in 1992, with a specialization in international and corporate finance. Throughout his life, he worked as corporate auditor for Cash America Corporation, a U.S. and international public corporation, and went on to found and successfully operate various automotive sales corporations.
Bill was a warm and compassionate person whose presence would always lift your spirit. He touched many lives with his thoughtful and caring ways, and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
A private service will be held on Friday at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park.
