William Courtney Burkhard's Obituary
BURKHARD, William Courtney, 72 of Safety Harbor passed away peacefully on February 18, 2016. He was born on September 11, 1943 in Baltimore, Maryland and grew up in Dallas, Texas. He was a proud graduate of Texas A & M class of 1966. After college he went on to work as an electrical engineer for the Aerospace industry even working on guidance systems for NASA’s space shuttle program. He was an excellent wood worker and often made custom pens for friends and family. Courtney also loved to operate his HAM radio equipment communicating with different parts of the world, and spending time with his lovely grandchildren.
He is pre deceased by his parents William and Hope. He is survived by his wife of 24 years Susan; son William Christopher Burkhard; daughters, Pamela Jones(TJ), Christiane Jackson(Schedrick) ; sister, Cynthia Byars; grandchildren, Almira, Yasmin, Ava, Camryn, Aidan, Mason and Ryann.
