William C. Gonyea's Obituary
Gonyea, William C., 93, of Dunedin, FL, passed away Friday, September 23, 2011. He was born in Minneapolis, MN in 1918 and lived in the Lake Minnetonka area until retiring to Dunedin in 1987. William served with the Army Air Corps as a pilot and was a recipient of the Distinguished Flying Cross. He was a life member of the VFW and a charter member of the Chamberlain Goudy Post in Mound. William was a member of St. Alfred's Episcopal Church, Palm Harbor, FL. He was predeceased by his wife Virginia in 2002. William is survived by 2 daughters, Dorothy Heap (James) of Seminole, FL and Karen Kimbrough (Howard) of Colleyville, TX; 3 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 10 AM, Friday, September 30, 2011 at St. Alfred's Episcopal Church, 1601 Curlew Road, Palm Harbor, FL. Burial will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL with military honors. Memorial contributions may be made to Suncoast Hospice or a charity of your choice.www.mossfeasterdunedin.com
