William Irizarry's Obituary
William Irizarry “Billin” passed at the age of 86. He was a Florida resident for the past twenty years. He was born and raised in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico and raised his family in New York. He enlisted in the US army, fought in the Korean War, and settled in New York City after being
honorably discharged. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Sonia, six children, Kathryn, Joseph, William, Elizabeth, Ernest, and Michele; nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. After working for twenty-five years as an MTA transit employee for the City of New York, he retired. He enjoyed playing pool and cards, spending time with his family and eating at Red Lobster.
