William Henry Marshall's Obituary
William Henry Marshall, age 66, passed away on June 21, 2024, at AccentCare
Hospice, Mease Manor, in Dunedin, Florida. He was born on August 31, 1957, in
Plymouth, Massachusetts, to Robert William Marshall and Joan Ruth Peirce Marshall.
William worked in survey, drafting and manufacturing for Precision Shaft Technologies,
Marshall-Peirce & Associates Inc, until his retirement in 2022. He will be remembered
for his intense devotion, not only to his family, but to the vast network of friends that
became an extension of his family over many years. He was a gentle caretaker for
elderly friends and neighbors, and could always be depended on for a good talk, a
laugh, a cry, or a generous hug. He most enjoyed golf cart outings to watch the sunset,
a day with his boat on the water, and spoke often of his travels abroad to the floating
city of Venice.
He was predeceased by his parents Robert William Marshall and Joan Ruth Peirce Marshall, and by his brother, Stephen Clyde Marshall.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Love Cole Marshall, his brother, Robert Marshall and
wife, Sue; his brother, Timothy and wife, Nancy; his brother, Jon Marshall and wife,
Diane; his sister, Heidi Marshall; his step-sons, Gabe Cole, and Sesh Cole and wife,
Mary; his granddaughter, Kiele; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
William was affectionately known as Willie, Bill, Uncle Billy, Billy Bones, Pa, Pop, or
Grandpa, and was an inspiration to all. His kind heart, always open and full of love, will
be deeply missed.
A Celebration of Life to honor the life of William Henry Marshall will be held in July.
Donations can be made to AccentCare Hospice or the National Children's Cancer
Society.
