Uncle Bill, my dad’s younger brother, became a steady and meaningful presence in my life after the loss of my father. I was 28 when I lost my dad, and through Uncle Bill’s stories, guidance, and humor, I was able to feel that connection again.
I’ll always smile when I think about the family reunions that kept us close, the Orioles game, the generosity he shared so freely, and the countless small conversations that meant so much. Uncle Bill had a way of making people feel welcome, supported, and part of something bigger.
To Jason, Denise, and her children—be proud of the life he lived and the love he gave. Uncle Bill’s legacy lives on through you and through all of us who were lucky enough to know him. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
