William Ethan Orcutt's Obituary
Largo, FL – William (Bill) Orcutt, 81, passed away with his loving daughters by his side on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at home after a prolonged illness. Bill kept his sense of humor and mischievousness side to the very end. He was born on November 11, 1941 to the late Howard and Dorothy (Cheney) Orcutt in Munnsville, New York.
Bill was predeceased by his loving wife of 57 years, Nancy (Lindkamp) Orcutt. He is survived by his son William P. Orcutt, his wife Debra of South Burlington, VT, and their children Sonya Walters of Essex, VT and Jordan Orcutt of Burlington, VT; his daughter Joanna Sartwell, her husband Donnie of Georgia, VT, and their children Private Jaydon Sartwell of Fort Bragg, North Carolina, and Maelyn Sartwell of Georgia, VT; his daughter Tricia Langlois, her husband John of Quinebaug, CT, and their children, Emily Langlois and her fiance Jason Miech of Phoenix, AZ, Sarah Langlois of Quinebaug, CT, and Daniel Langlois of Watertown, MA; his sister Darlene Hollingsworth, her significant other "Bud" Dunn, and her daughters of Oneida, NY; his brother Bruce Orcutt, his wife Renee, and their sons of Cypress, TX; 4 great-grandsons: Hunter McMahon of Burlington, VT, Jasper Orcutt of South Burlington, VT, Asher Orcutt of Burlington, VT, and Xander Orcutt of South Burlington, VT; his aunt Ardath "Sue" Orcutt of Largo, FL, and many close friends.
Bill was a lifelong golfer and spent many hours out on the links with family and friends. He enjoyed eating out and playing cards on Saturday nights with the gang in Fairfax, VT. He and Nancy loved to travel and toured many baseball stadiums across the country. His most favorite pastime was spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

We especially want to thank Ashley, Arthur, and Giovanni of Empath, and Dr. Arpit Patel of Optum JSA Medical Group for their exceptional kindness and attention to both Bill and his children.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, April 1st from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at A.W. Rich Funeral Home – Fairfax Chapel, 1176 Main Street, Fairfax, VT. Graveside service and burial will be private. Memorial contributions in Bill's memory may be made to the Franklin County Humane Society, 30 Sunset Meadows, St. Albans, VT 05478.
