Willis, William J. “Bill”
83, of Clearwater, passed away October 25, 2015. Bill was from Campbellsville, Kentucky and moved to the Tampa Bay area in 1978. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Bill owned and operated Vet’s Discount Flags in Clearwater for 13 years. After retirement, he and his wife, Pat, spent 12 years traveling the U.S in their RV. Bill was an avid square dancer and enjoyed RV camping with a host of close friends. He and Pat have been Presidents of Chapter 153 of the National Association of Square-Dance Campers for 6 separate years and held various other offices within the Chapter over the last 28 years. Bill was preceded in death by his first wife of 18 years, Pearl Cash Willis. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Pat; a son, Ron Willis (Stephanie) of Dunedin; daughters, Matilda Mossman of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Dee Ann Larson (Jeff) of St. Petersburg, Dale Dugan (Bobby) of Cleveland, Ohio; a brother, Ken Willis (Barbara) of Fairborn, Ohio and 12 grandchildren. Visitation Sunday, Nov. 1 from 3-4 pm with funeral service to follow at 4 pm at Moss Feaster Funeral Home, 693 South Belcher Rd., Clearwater, FL.
