Adam was truly a kind and gentle soul. His tall stature seemed to be matched with the biggest heart and a dazzling smile. I didn’t get a chance to know Adam and his fiancé for long, but I immediately felt that they were genuine and giving people. My last memory of him was of him giving me a big bear hug and saying “thank you for being my sister’s friend”. I could tell he was the kind of person that takes pride in caring for his loved ones and making sure they’re happy. He will be greatly missed, but more importantly he will be remembered for a lifetime.
Although we did not spend a lot of time together with Adam, we established a great connection with him. As others have said, his warm infectious smile made you want to hang with him just a little longer to soak in his sunshine. Adam, it’s an unfair crying unfathomable shame that you and Alicia won’t be walking down the aisle one fine Honolulu evening, but we will always visualize you basking in the sunshine on a warm and glorious day ~ Daniel and Marylou Sanders
We only had the opportunity to met Adam twice, both at very happy occasions (Sara and Will's graduations from UNC and their wedding), but he made a big impression. He had an infectious smile and a warmth that made you feel like you had known him for years. He was such a loving son, brother, and fiancé and a bright light to everyone who met him. Rest in peace, Adam. We are sending love and praying for comfort and peace for Sara and Will, Rom, Yim, and Alecia and her family.

Adam brought light into every room he walked in. He had a smile that radiated kindness. It was easy to see in even the simplest of conversations how driven and compassionate of a person he was. He will be truly missed.
We will remember and cherish the times we have spent with Adam and Alecia and Yim. Adam will always be in our hearts. Your smile made everyone feel loved around you. We will never forget you Adam, you were such a wonderful gift to everyone. Our prayers will continue for Alecia and families.
