Adam Viehsnaa Yoeun's Obituary
Adam V. Yoeun
Beloved Son, Brother, and Fiancé
Adam V. Yoeun, an entrepreneur and long-time resident of Dunedin, FL, passed on Monday, August 30, 2021, at the vibrant age of 36 after a hard fought battle with COVID-19. A graduate of A.C. Reynolds High School in 2002 and Western Carolina University—with a major in business and entrepreneurship—in 2007, Adam was a North Carolinian mountain man through and through. Seeking new adventures and warm FL sunshine post-undergraduate studies, Adam packed up his first beloved car—a black Honda Civic SI Coupe—and cruised down to Dunedin, FL, where his love and passion for cars truly began to flourish. Adam first dabbled in entrepreneurship through the opening of a custom sign, logo, and label shop. Ultimately, Adam could not stay away from his first love, cars, in which he served as a long-time manager of a specialty automotive repair and tire shop. In May of 2020, Adam took a leap of faith and launched a specialty automotive repair shop: Big Boyz Tires—specializing in tires, wheels, and lift kits, with his business partner, Elio D. Sosa. When Adam wasn’t chatting with his loyal customer base, you could find him cruising the waters of Clearwater Beach via kayak or jet ski, trekking through the woods on his mountain bike, or fishing for the day’s fresh catch alongside his equally matched fiancé, Alecia M. Hukill and father, Yim Yoeun. Adam truly lived life to the fullest each and everyday. With his infectious smile, laughter, and uncanny ability to light up a room and hold warm conversation with both new and old friends, Adam will be sorely missed by his family and friends near and far. Adam is survived by his father, Yim Yoeun; mother, Rom Yoeun; sister, Sara Yoeun; brother-in-law, William Bogey; grandmother, Mimi Shackelford; future father-in-law Gale Hukill; future mother-in-law, Yvette Hukill, future sister-in-law, Kelsey Kimble, future brother-in-law, Joshua Kimble; future nephew-in-law, Weston; future niece-in-law, Brooklynn; and his beloved fiancé and soulmate, Alecia M. Hukill. An intimate funeral service for the immediate family will be held at the Moss-Feaster Funeral Home in Dunedin, FL, on Wednesday, September 1, 2021. The family would like to express their gratitude for the outpouring of love, prayers, and thoughts sent by family and friends near and far. Condolences can be sent to the family at
