Freddy was a great guy. He was a real pal to my grandfather and they watched many a Bruins game together. He was with me when I made my first trip to Fenway Park back in 1957. I loved talking sports and politics with him. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was always kind and generous to me when I was just a little kid.
