Argelia "Mima" Piedra, 86, of Safety Harbor, Florida, made her transition to the gates of heaven on August 19, 2021.
Argelia Piedra was born to Guillermo Caballero Herrera and Maria Josefa Martinez Hernandez in La Habana, Cuba on June 18, 1935.
She married the love of her life, Rogelio Piedra, and together they made their way from Cuba to California to raise their four children. She moved from Cali to
Clearwater, Florida in 2016. Her Florida residency was short, but filled with lots of beautiful memories.
She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and a friend to many.
She is preceded by: Rogelio M. Piedra (Marido-Husband) and Rogelio C. Piedra (Hijo-Son) y baby "Silvito" (6 mos old)
She is survived by her children: Ramon Valdes, Guillermo Valdes, Renee de Percin, Jorge Piedra, Milagros Piedra, Odalys Piedra.
Grandchildren: Jorge M. Piedra, Amel Piedra, "Pachuco" Valdes, Princess Piedra, Betty Piedra, Milagros Contreras, Juan Fierro, Argelia Valdes, Selene Piedra. Sister/Brother: Caridad "Chu Chu" Caballero, Adolfo Elejalde
Great grandchildren: Olivia S. Piedra, Mina S. Piedra, Kataleya Grayer, Julius Fierro, Noah Valdes
Mima also has many adopted grandchildren and great-grandchildren she loved and cared for just as her own.
