Robin and Todd-
I don’t even know how to begin- Your Dad was just an incredible man who loved you all so much, his family was everything! He always made me feel like apart of your family. He always said like you said , enjoy life and never get old! I lost touch with him for the last two years because I lost his phone number. I remembered him on his birthday always and always called him on his special day and that’s when we would catch up! I am so sad to hear of his passing! I was in shock and so upset! May Art rest in peace and I know he is so happy to be with his beautiful bride, Annie once again! I loved your parents!! I am going to miss him dearly! So proud to have known and loved him for the last 9 years. He was a father to me and loved me like his own. We shared so many beautiful memories with each other. My husband and I looked forward to our weekends in Largo. We were blessed to have him live beside us for a year and a half, looking after each other and sharing dinners together! Pops was a strong and loving man who only wanted everyone he met to have the blessed life he shared with his wife. Thumbs up to all! Big smile on his face as he walked around the community and was loved by so many. What I would give to kiss his head and tell him how much I love him one more time!

I remember going to Butch and Ann's house on Christmas Eve. Ann and Butch would have papa and the Ann's side of the family that night. Stacey was only a toddler at one of the Christmas Eves we spent there. The house had a circular hall. Stacey was running around and every time she she ran pass Butch he would give her a little sip of his beer. I came around the corner and Butch looked at me with a little bit of guilt. I told him don't let my father in law catching you giving Stacey a sip of beer. Butch will be missed.

Robin and Todd- Your mom and dad were like a big brother and sister to Russ and I when we moved into our house right next door. Dan said this AM that they were the "old-fashioned kind of come over for a cup of sugar" neighbors.

And that is true that we all were in and out of each other's house ( and your pool) every day. But we were the ones always borrowing or needing help and your mom and dad were always there for us.

Anne was Marc's godmother and I know she watched over him from above because she loved him and he has grown up to be a good man.

Your mom and dad always laughed at the antics of our 4 boys- most of which are not mentionable in a sacred space -- but they made us see the good side every time.

I am touched to read that your dad was lost without your mother-- but I am not surprised at all -- she was the kind of old- fashioned mom who was the heart and soul of your family.

Thanks for this beautiful obit. I really calls them back in spirit.

I will always cherish the wonderful times we shared in Laconia…the boat rides, skiing Gunstock, partaking in Church activities and celebrating Mass on the island before their move to Clearwater. Thanks, too, for all those Christmas cards throughout these past 40 years, Butch. You and Ann, Robin and Todd touched my soul as well as my heart. Go to God good friend.

The last time I was able to visit Uncle Butch & Aunt Ann in York, we walked along beach. They told each other they loved one another & kissed. I think when Uncle Butch arrived in heaven, I can picture that memory come to life again once more.
