Miss Betty was one of one of a kind! Everyone in our company loved to see her and it was never “work” when we made our visits to her at Candy’s. I was awed at her proactive attitude and inspired by her deep love of her family. 💕

Dale, Candy, Rick and Family,
So very sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing and sending you love and prayers. My Mom, Kay Curry, and Betty were dearest friends, and I️ have such fond and vivid memories of holiday gatherings and times at Treasure Lake. I️ have letters that the two shared until my Mother’s death, which are so very precious to me. I’m grateful that Betty and I️ reconnected in the past few years through FB. I️ loved your Mother very much! The world has lost one of the most amazing women I️ have had the great honor to know, but there certainly will be a grand party going on in that great big place we call heaven!! Hugs and Love to All.
My heart goes out to all my nieces and nephews at this time when losing their mother (grandmother). I love you all. I am going to miss my sister very much but I know she is in the arms of Jesus and much better off now with no more pain or frustration. As some of you might know I lived with Betty a few months after graduating from high school, and in those few months she taught me so very much. How to cook and eat healthy foods, how to sew, a lot about parenting. Betty was not only my sister she was my mentor. We talked on the phone at least once a week until she got weaker. I will miss her so very much. Please keep in touch with me. I love getting letters and pictures. Love Aunt Yula
