Mom put her whole heart into everything. We had so many fun times just the two of us like picnics and tea parties in the backyard, shopping and having lunch, visiting shut ins, playing with simple things like buttons, and just sharing deep parts of our lives with each other. She taught me to love and know God, to pray, to have compassion, to cook, to write my ABC's, and helped me get over my extreme shyness. The rare times in life I would oversleep, Mom would call because she "knew". I ran into a lady who remembered me from the nursery at Church only because she was touched by the tender way Mom treated me. I got constant care packages in college. She would visit me in college every month I was there which was a long drive or flight. She provided many opportunities for me and would always attend games, recitals, parades, etc. She was the definition of the word "cute'. She had a gift of finding the needs of others and the heart to care. Mom had enormous love for her whole family and all of her MANY friends.
