Carmen is my first Filipino friend in Garden City. She served as teacher at St. Dunstan's School for several years. She is one of the leaders and moving forces of the Philippine American Families Association. I remember her as a very gracious, loving and welcoming activist not only in the Filipino community but also in the Catholic congregations she belong to. Always giving more than 100% in service. May God grant her peaceful rest.
