Just heard about Cliff passing away. I knew he married again in January and so sorry he lived only about 2 months after that. One of my memories of Cliff was he was flying Deanna, me and my husband Belton Saunders, Pete and Nancy Hairston from Mt. Pleasant, TX to Memphis, TN. We had taken off from Mt. Pleasant and he knew the landing gear was not working right so we had to land and it was quite scary and we all waited until it was repaired. Deanna, of course, was most unhappy! Cliff was an "interesting" person to work with from 1985-1994 in Mt. Pleasant. I had seen him at a couple conventions since then and also had communicated a bit on facebook. So very sorry to hear he passed. I knew Clinton and Cliff III and his wife. I had no idea there were so many grandchildren and great-grands! Hope he still had the mountain place that all of the family can continue to enjoy. My deepest sympathy to all.
