He was a very good friend. Always supportive of my dreams. We shared a lot of laughs. Del you always said you wanted to go sliding into home plate with champagne and a cigar yelling "That was one heck of a ride." I have a feeling that wish was granted. Goodbye old friend you will be missed by so many. Thanks for the good times.
I only worked for Del a few months but he always made me feel welcome. He was a kind man but had a way of getting what he wanted. He would often trick me into taking a ride but we always ended up at the Dairy Queen. Del loved the Dilly Bars and strawberry shakes. He would always tell me I drove too slow. One day I said I don’t want to get a speeding ticket and he said don’t worry you won’t and if you do I’ll pay it for you. He will always hold a special place in my heart. My sympathy to all his family.

Our deepest sympathies Del's family 🙏. Looking back, we have great memories of family meetings! No matter if it was Del, Carla or Gary and I who asked for the meeting, Del was always willing to listen, share ideas and work together with us for Corey and Tiffany's sakes. He always treated our twins Katie and Michelle as if they were just as important, and we will always remember that kindness. Although Del and Gary and I were of another generation, it always amazed me how Del and I would think right along the same lines. He always treated me with respect and gave me the floor when I needed to be heard. I will always believe that Corey and Tiffany were able to succeed in life because of Del's help with raising them. They say that it takes a village, and that could never be more true! We remember him with fondness and gratitude for these things and more. Rest in peace Del, you are home now.
