1969 & 2022
I was blessed to begin my baseball career and life long friendship with Coach around 1965 when I played minor” league baseball for him at Sid Lickton for Clearwater little league. I’ll never forget when he let me pitch for the first time on diamond 5 and I walked 17 batters. Coach was such a good man and we loved playing for him. My brother Paul and I always talk about those memories of Coach and I can see him now with his Atlanta Braves ball cap and us calling him the the “Milo Hamilton” of Clearwater! What a great mentor for our lives and we will never forget him. Thanks Coach for all you did for Clearwater! Prayers for peace and comfort to Tommy and all the family. Pete Smith
