I just wanted to say that Doug is in some of my earliest memories as he and his family were my next door neighbors when I was a small child. He was good friends with my dad. I think he was exasperated with me a lot as I was always getting in trouble with his daughter Claudia. But he was always nice to me and a very good and loving father. Rest in Peace Doug and we will meet again someday.
Doug always said hi to me when I rode my bike past him and Willie in the mornings. Always had a smile for everyone. Miss him❤️
Am 27. August 2019 waren Doug und Siegrid nach so vielen Jahren wieder bei uns in Deutschland zu Besuch. Wir haben uns unglaublich gefreut, sie wiederzusehen und die gemeinsame Zeit zu genießen. Es macht uns sehr traurig, dass dies der letzte Besuch war. Die Erinnerungen daran bleiben jedoch für immer in unseren Herzen. 💖

Claudia being my neighbor, I became acquainted with Doug and his wife. Doug was a very kind, calm, soul who was a joy to be around. He seemed so laid back and mellow. Hope you meet up with my husband Tony. RIP
