Ed was such a pleasant man. He brought sunshine to all who met him. God bless him and his family.
It was so sad to hear of Ed’s passing.
He was always to nice and welcoming when entering SS Francis and Clare for Saturday evening Mass!
I enjoyed chatting with him for a few moments before Mass.
He enjoyed telling me of his mini marathons participation.
We often take for granted those who we expect to be there all the time. And, when they are gone. An emptiness is left which really cannot be filled.
May Ed find peace in Heaven!
God Bless and comfort Ed’s family especially during this time of great loss!

I am so saddened to learn of Ed’s passing. We attended the Saturday evening mass for the first time since March tonight, and so very missed Ed’s warm welcome at the door. Seeing Ed each week was a true highlight for me, and I will miss him dearly. Ed’s joy for life and graciousness will forever be remembered, and I am so grateful to have crossed paths with him.

Carolyn and Colleen, we are so sorry to hear of Ed's passing. Please know we continue to keep you both close to our hearts. I wanted to let you know that Jerry Brown, PMHS Alumni Historian sent out a lovely notice to the retired educators:
Some sad news to share:
Yesterday in the Indy Star there was an obituary for Ed Hoeping. His daughter Colleen graduated from PMHS in 1989. Many of you will remember was a tremendous volunteer for PMHS back in the day: proms, after proms, Dad’s Club, took pictures for many groups, made spirit buttons and probably other activities that I cannot remember. The obituary is probably still available on the Indy Star website.
I am confident he will be remembered fondly by many for all he did for the community and school. Sending peace,
Jo Ellen and Bill Buffie
Dear Mrs. Hoeping and Colleen, I am thinking of you and keeping you in my prayers. I have such fond memories of Mr. Hoeping and the many hours he shared with us square dancing with the 4th graders at St. Barnabas. He shared his kindness and lots of fun! Hugs to you and all your family. Judy Miller
Our sympathy to Ed’s family. We will miss seeing him at church. You will be in our prayers.
Ed always had a smile and warm greeting. So blessed to have known him
