In addition to his professional career, Ed was a successful Square Dance Caller, even founding his own club, the “FAS-N 8’s”. He also enjoyed teaching Square Dance and entertaining other dance clubs, private parties, college fraternities and sororities, and schools. Ed also dabbled in auctioneering and liked staying active, even completing the Indy 500 Mini-Marathon close to ten times, while in his retirement years.
Ed was also very active in his church, St. Francis & Clare Roman Catholic Church, serving as a Greeter for many years. He always enjoyed meeting new people and welcoming them into Saturday evening services.
