Ed was an important person in my life, he looked out for me from a very young age to a much older age lol he shared his summer home with me and my family and alway's had an open warm heart! I will forever be saddened that I won't see him anymore but will cherish many memories I have with him! Love, Tina
I have known Ed for a good number of years. In fact I joined the Vikings, per his request, when he was the Chief. The comments that Ed will be greatly missed are a bit of an understatement. Ed not only was a major player in the development and construction of the club house and break wall. As late as last year, he spent an exorbitant amount of his time cleaning up the accumulated mess along the Marina Road. He made himself available to every member of the Trailer Association to assist with what ever they needed help with. I was praised several times last summer for buying wood for the fire pit on the lake front, but that wood would have just been sitting in a pile up on the hill if it wasn’t for Ed, almost every day gathering kindling wood and taking some of the logs down to the fire pit for that nights fire. Saying he will be missed may be the best we can do with words, but it falls drastically short of reality.
