Edward August Johnson's Obituary
Edward August Johnson, 71, a retired Construction Superintendent for Boyd Construction Company, entered into rest on Wednesday, November 2, 2022.
The son of the late Fred Elmer and Maryjane (Liddel) Johnson.  Edward was born on February 8, 1951 in Jamestown, New York.  His beloved Marilyn resides at home in Florida.
Ed was a longtime member (53 years) of The Vikings in Mayville, New York.  Ed was a Viking Chief in 1984.  He received his fifty-year membership award in 2020.
In addition to his wife, Marilyn, Ed is survived by his loving step-children, Scott A. Hakes and Tina Laurin, Kimberly M. Wobrock and John Wobrock and Cari A. Ortiz and Luis Martinez; beloved grandchildren, Briana H. Wobrock, Anthony D. Wobrock, Sierra M. Martinez, Christopher S. Laurin and Adam D. Hakes;  his brothers, Jim Johnson and John Johnson.
Memorial Services for Ed will be held on Sunday, November 20th at Moss Feaster Funeral Home, 1320 Main Street, Dunedin, FL  34698 with a Gathering of Friends from 1:00-1:45PM and Memorial Service to follow from 1:45PM-2:15PM. Celebration of Life will be held at Fred Howard Park, Shelter 6, 1700 Sunset Drive, Tarpon Springs, FL 34689 from 2:45-5:00 pm for his Florida family and friends. A second Celebration of Life for his New York family and friends will be held on Sunday July 16, 2023 at 1 pm, at The Vikings Club, Upper Pavilion, in Mayville, New York.
