We were saddened to learn of Erik's passing. Although it has been many years since we last spoke, we want to express our gratitude for the significant impact he had on our son Troy as his football coach. Erik taught Troy many valuable life skills that have shaped him into the person he is today. He will always hold a special place in our hearts. Lisa, Corey and Alex, My sincere sympathies on Erik's passing. We live a few houses away from each other and my sons Aaron and Shawn went to school with Alex. Although we've never met every time I drove by Erik would always wave. I always thought to myself, what a nice guy.
