One of Evelyn's favorite things that she and I would do together, was have ice cream. While she would eat her strawberry "ice cream on a stick" as she called. She also would share stories of a lady wearing a long white dress and hat to keep the sun off her face. She was pulling a buggy with the horses and delivering ice cream to the kids for $.05 and the kids would run as fast as they could to get a nickel from the mother's so the could have ice cream.
