I always enjoyed Uncle Babe. He would come out for the Schille family reunions in Walla Walla and we always had to make sure we had Budweiser beer in the fridge. It is very sad to loose another member of a great family.
I thought Uncle Babe was going to live forever. I visited the family during the holidays in the mid-70's in New Hampshire. I loved staying with the family and getting to know a couple of the younger family members. Babe was always gracious and warm to be with. The last time I saw him was before the death of his brother and my dad, Elmer Schille. My thoughts and prayers, Sister Betty Schille (St. Louis, MO)
