Gary R. Harris' Obituary
Gary R. Harris, 78, of Clearwater, FL passed away Monday, March 7, 2022 at Morton Plant Hospital. Gary was born June 24, 1943 in Springfield, MA to Raymond and Dorothy (McNabb) Harris who have predeceased him along with a close friend Tom Knight. He was a graduate of Agawam High School, Westfield State College and Springfield College, all in Massachusetts. Gary was a member of Mystic Seaport Museum, Connecticut River Museum and Elks Lodge 771 in Middletown, CT. His first love was boating on the CT River and Long Island Sound. He spent summers as a child and then as an adult in Old Saybrook, CT. Gary is survived by his wife of 50 years, Anne; a daughter, Kathleen and close friends, John Hemphill and the Knight family.
