I have met very few people that made as much an impact on me as Geni and Duke have. I always loved to hear the stories that Geni would share of her younger days. But the picture of Geni with the snake "scarf" just showed what an entertainer she was. Through the fire in their house when they lost so much they stood strong against the losses and bounced back stronger than ever. I and Pat had the great privilege to stand beside them when they renewed their love for each other at the 55th wedding anniversary. That was 7 years ago as someone reminded me recently. In fact nearly 3 years have passed since we left Florida, Bruce Taylor Inc. and moved to Austin.
We will never see Geni again but we will always remember her fondly. We miss them both. Take care Duke!
