Georgeine Mae Marbeiter's Obituary
Marbeiter, Georgeine Mae, nee: Moore, was born on August 8, 1952 to Earl Moore and Helen Wilber Moore in Durand, MI. At a young age they moved to Manistee, MI. where she started school. Later moving to Mason County and graduated in 1971 at Mason County Central in Scottville, MI. She has an older brother Earl Moore, older sister Marleine McKerracher, and a younger sister Orleine (Kay) Smalley; many nieces and nephews.
She met and married her best friend and soulmate, Eugene C. Marbeiter in 1972, they moved to California where they spent several years in the Navy. Later they moved to North Dakota for Trinity Bible Institute. They were blessed with three wonderful children, Kevin G. Marbeiter and Keith A. Marbeiter, and Tanya R. Marbeiter.
Georgeine later worked in Duval County School System in Jacksonville, Florida for 13 years as a teacher’s assistant and interpreter for the deaf and hard of hearing. After retirement from the military, Georgeine and family moved to Clearwater, Florida. She worked as a preschool teacher for several years until she was forced into medical retirement. Georgeine was diagnosed with fallopian tube cancer in January of 2008. She fought a long battle since then with many other medical issues taking place.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Helen Moore; mother in law Dorothy Marbeiter; brother in law Earl McKerracher; husband Eugene and daughter in law Dawn Marbeiter. She is survived by her three children and only grandchild Rachel Marbeiter, who is her sweet pea and pride and joy.
Friends will be received Saturday Feb. 28th from 1-2:30 p.m. with services following at 2:30 at Moss Feaster Funeral Home Chapel, 693 South Belcher Road, Clearwater.
