Gretchen S. Goetze's Obituary
Gretchen S. Goetze, 85, of Indian Rocks Beach, FL passed away surrounded by her loving family June 25, 2020. She was born April 22, 1935 in Minneapolis, MN to Leonard and Beth (Lanz) Steinke. Gretchen moved to this area in 1966 from Indianapolis, IN. She worked in marketing for Chase Manhattan Bank and the University of Tampa. Gretchen was a member of Christ Presbyterian Church, Largo and sang in its choir, as well as she was active over the years in Community Chorus, directed choir and Bell Choir at Trinity Presbyterian Church, Clearwater. A talented seamstress, Gretchen enjoyed the outdoors, camping, hiking and dogs and cats. She is survived by her husband, Arthur of 21 years; son, Brian and his wife Missy Russell; a daughter, Jane and her husband Ric Murray; step-son, David Goetze; a sister, Barbara Loux; a brother, Jerry and his wife, Sue Steinke; 3 grandchildren, Amanda Bruch, Allie Russell and Deanna Loux. Service will be planned at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Suncoast Hospice.
