Gwen was such a dear sweet lady and she will be surely missed. We worked with Gwen's husband (Vic) for many years until he retired and have been fortunate to be able to share many visits with her since his death. It has truly been an honor and a privilege to know somebody like Gwen- she had an amazing spirit that kept her going each day. We will never forget all the laughs we shared talking about our times with Vic and all his "pop-ups"; for he had sayings for just about everything in life. Gwen helped us to keep those memories alive and we will continue to share her memories. It's not very often in Life that you are blessed with knowing a beautiful person such as Gwen and we will always remember her laughter and smiles. We are very sorry for your loss, Deb and Bob, but know that she is back to having fun and listening to Bluegrass with Vic.

I met the lovely Gwen when she came to the Halloween Party that Deb was hosting at work. What a sweetheart she was, I enjoyed talking with her. She was such a hoot and we had a great visit. My mother is a resident where Deb works, and what a ray of sunshine she has been for everyone. Obviously I have not known them both very long, but I would say the apple did not drop far from that tree. I have lifted Deb and Bob up in prayer and know our Heavenly Father loves having his newest angel, Gwen. My deepest sympathy! Carolyn Albertson

Tootie had an extremely vibrant, kind and beautiful soul...I will never forget the time Tootie, Deb and Bob came out to watch my dragon boat races in Tampa...It was such a delight to have her there while I was competing!!! I am immensely blessed to have had the chance to meet and know an incredible woman!!! You will be greatly missed , Tootie. Heaven just gained a beautiful Angel!

Gwen was my adopted grandma and she was the best hearted person i have ever known she always knew how to make me and my sister laugh and she always had a smile on her face. She loved to dance to her blue grass music always dressed like a cowgirl and eating some cookies and drinking her coffee. She had a good heart was so nice she had a good soul. Ever since i met her she welcome me into her home and into her family she was nice to me and my sister and always tried feed us like we were her gand kids and we were we would always go visit her on saturdays and we would sit down together and eat and usually dance she loved her flowers and her home, when we sat down and talked she would tell us about her growing up on the farm and her adventures she had as a little girl and it her stories would make us laugh or make us smile. She supported me and my sister through everything she told us to try our best in school and thats what im doing. Well she lived a long and happy life and now she is in heaven with her husband dancing till she falls to the floor. She will never be forgoten she will always have a place in my heart. Rest in peace gwen we will miss you❤️❤️

Gwen was such an amazing woman and lived life to the fullest every day. She brought joy and happiness to everyone she met. Many lives were touched by her special sweet soul. She was the true definition of Mother and friend and will be missed tremendously.
I have been so very blessed to be a part of her daughter, Deborah's, life for many years. What a true gift God has given me by placing Deb and Bob in my life. I am truly grateful for both of them. Not only has Deb been my boss, my mentor, my friend, my confidant but my "adopted" sister as well. Deb is a woman of integrity, honesty, faith, kindness, tenderness and will do whatever it takes to help another person in need. All of these are characteristics she got from her Mother Gwen.
God needed another angel in heaven and has now called Gwen home. Rest in peace Gwen and know that we will see you again.

We are incredibly sorry for your loss. Rebekah, Finley and I are going to miss our talks with Mrs. Gwen at the fence each day. She was an awesome neighbor and we are so glad for the time we got to spend with her. Though it isn't easy, we are thankful that she is no longer in any pain or discomfort. Here are some pictures of Mrs. Gwen and Finley. This was Finley's first Halloween last year and Mrs. Gwen was the first house she visited. Such a precious memory! We will see you all on Saturday.
