What an awesome lady and Kappa. She was so much fun. I will miss her and so will the Lunch Bunch crowd! Will never forget her...
I am shocked because I thought Gwen would live forever. She was a fighter, a positive woman, very talented and "with it " no matter her age. A dear Kappa Sister, Gwen attended all of our lunch bunches , and many other events, with the help of her dear friend and Kappa Sister Meryl. She played the organ, still taking lessons. Gwen also loved sports, was a great fan of the Bucs and always interested in how the Rays were doing. I will miss her, but will not forget her.
I'm so sorry to hear that Gwen has passed away. Even though I didn't know her really all that well, it was easy for anyone to see that she was an incredible woman who forged the way for many professional women. Gwen truly exemplified our Kappa's high ideals of leadership, loyalty and sisterhood and the biblical principles of women of faith. I'm confident God welcomed her to her eternal home with arms stretched wide saying, "Well done, good and faithful servant." I count it my privilege to have known her for such a brief moment in time. You will be missed. May the God of all comfort be with her family and friends in this time. Love and Loyally, Rev. Bette-Jo (BJ) Foster
