Considering I have 71 years of memories of my brother, it would be hard to pick just one but his dedication to his family is what sticks out in my mind today. He and Mary raised two great kids and helped raise three wonderful grandkids. His memory will be eternal through the stories they will tell for years to come.

lost a cousin on Friday. Jay Zellers. His mother and my mother where cousins which of course made us cousins too. When I was 15, I was asked to babysit for Jay and his three sisters for the summer. I will never forget Jay and his friends trying to pull the wool over my eyes, jumping out and trying to scare me and multitudes of other harmless pranks. I also will never forget the look on Jay's face when he and his friends failed to accomplish what they intended to happen - lol. You fought the good fight Jay, now rest in peace. Love, Melaine
One of the greatest friends I ever had. Meet Jay in Newport News Virginia. After several conversations he moved his family to Asheville NC. We worked along side each other for several years. The best memory was Jay influenced me through his frienship, to grow up and stop being a child and become a man. Not only psyically and mature but become a man of God. He was a part of what I call my first mens small group. (Our Paint Ball Team) Not only that but I remember those nights of eating out, going to movies and mid night bowling with Asheville Industries friends. I will forever regret not getting to see him when he visited WNC a few years back. But because of his impact of me, I WILL SOMEDAY.
