In addition to the extreme loss that is being felt by his family, Jay will also be missed very much by a large number of close friends throughout the country.
He was a Designer/Draftsman (water storage tanks, nuclear powered submarines, plastic injection molds) and finished his career as a medical Sterile Processing Technician.
Jay loved playing poker and all card games. He enjoyed playing golf as well as watching golf on tv. He liked to do puzzles in his down time. His favorite place to visit was Las Vegas and he went many times through the years with friends and family. He liked jazz, Motown and gospel quartet music. He loved his family and always went out of his way to make them happy. He was a man of few words but when he spoke we all listened because it was going to be thought out and important or really funny. He was a perfectionist and taught us the value of doing things correctly, no matter what the project. This was not through words or pressure. It was all example.
The family will honor Jay’s request to not have a memorial or funeral service.
