Jeffrey Alan Augustine's Obituary
Jeffrey Alan Augustine, 58, was born on January 7th, 1966 in Bucks County, PA. He passed away on the morning of Saturday, January 27th, 2024. He attended Atlantic Cape Community College, in which he received an Associates Degree and was studying for a BA. He then went on to begin a career with GTE and retired with Frontier after 35 years of service.
Jeffrey married the love of his life, Ingrid (Eikeland) Augustine, on June 20th, 1987. The two had three children, a son, Kyle Jeffrey Augustine, a daughter, Sybrina Augustine, and another son, Victor George Augustine. He had a close friendship with Ted Hamm II, who unfortunately passed away from COVID-19. Jeffrey was a minister in the Church of the Latter Day Dudes. He and his granddaughter Aurora Augustine were the best of friends and did so many things together.
His hobbies were quite extensive. He had a passion for music, and participated in several different bands, and could play bass, keyboards, electric and acoustic guitars, and the ukulele. He was similarly passionate about kayaking. Often, he could be found travelling to various islands along the intercoastal and Ft. DeSoto. Vegetable gardening was also a love of his. He shared this passion with his wife, kids, and later, his granddaughter. His favorites were always the tomatoes. Finally, his fourth greatest passion was baseball. His favorite team was the Philadelphia Phillies. He would watch them as a child with his grandfather, George Augustine. He also participated in several fantasy leagues, winning an award or two, and co-ran several more. His last job was working with the Phillies organization at the Baycare Ballpark, and he absolutely loved it.
Jeffrey is survived by his wife, Ingrid (Eikeland) Augustine, mother, Joan Augustine, his sons, Kyle Jeffrey Augustine and Victor George Augustine, his daughter, Sybrina Augustine, his granddaughters Aurora Rose Ruth Augustine and Zelda Dawn Gorhan, his mother-in-law Wanda Eikeland and father-in-law Gene Eikeland, a brother-in-law Lance Eikeland, and a multitude of aunts, uncles and cousins.
