For some reason I’ve been thinking about Joan Mack for a while. My spouse and I bought Bill and Joan’s home in Rochester, December 1996, prior to their move in Florida. I have fond memories of them both and Joan especially, when we took a nice walk in Tampa in 1998. Her eyes sparkled💜
It’s been many months since mom passed and I miss her deeply.
For many years mom raised her children by herself with the help of her parents when we moved to Rochester from out of state. She worked hard to raise three children before meeting Bill (my new dad) when I was about 12.
She taught me to treat all people with respect and dignity and to be especially thoughtful for the “ under dog”.
I’m especially thankful for her bringing Bill into our lives...... even though we had a “tough go” for the first several years of our relationship.
Mom was an “ up- beat” person always ready to smile.
I often think of her and realize that she’s no longer with us. I’m grateful that I have many happy memories of her.
I love you mom.
Joan was a beautiful person in and out. Loved by all.
She will be sadly missed. Loved our visits.
Joan was too great a friend to ever forget. She was a gift to all who knew her.
