Joan C Mack's Obituary
Joan C. Mack (Welsher), 84, passed away peacefully on 5/21/18 in Clearwater, FL. She is survived by her loving husband, William (Bill) Mack. They would have been celebrating their 50th anniversary in December. She is also survived by her son, Douglas Campbell (Brenda), her daughter Carley Sattler; nephews Rick Kingsland, Dave Kingsland, and Arend Kingsland; grandchildren Gregg Campbell (Kylie), Kevin Campbell (Chelsea) and a great grandson, Hudson Campbell. She is predeceased by her sister Grace Kingsland (Welsher), son Scott Campbell and daughter Diana Sattler (Campbell).
Joan was born in Rochester, New York and after graduating from high school served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. After her honorable discharge, she returned to Rochester and worked as an operator, retiring from the Rochester Telephone Company with over 30 years of service. After retirement, she and Bill moved to the St. Petersburg, Florida area in 1996 to join Bill’s parents. Joan loved spending time with family and friends and enjoyed traveling, music, films, swimming, camping, and horseback riding. In lieu of flowers please make donations in her name to St. Jude Children's Fund.
