Joe Rosenberger's Obituary
Rosenberger, Joseph B. 60, of Clearwater passed away August 30, 2016 after losing his battle with colon cancer.
Joey loved riding his Harley with his wife and their great group of friends. He was known to his biker friends as "Joey Toes", a name given to him by his close friend Dale. Weekends were spent meeting up with friends and riding from one bike event to another. Riding all over the back roads of Florida with the wind in his hair. When Joey wasn't riding he was working on his bike or fixing his friends bikes. He was a great mechanic! He would work on cars as well and motorcycles and could fix anything!
Joey always had a love for classic cars and enjoyed going to car shows, watching car shows and his knowledge of old cars was amazing. He wanted to restore the 62 Corvair in the garage one day.
Joey loved the outdoors, and would spend time at the beach with his family kayaking to Caladesi Island and just hanging out and relaxing on the beach.
Last year Joe started a new hobby that he really enjoyed. Turning reclaimed wood and pallets into benches & tables. He was always coming up with new ideas to build along with his friend Raden.
Joey made everyone feel at home and welcome. He had a great sense of humor... We would say "Joe smile" and he would always say " I am smiling". It never got old!
Joey had the kindest heart & was very thoughtful and giving. Our hearts are truly broken, he will be missed dearly. His love of life will not be forgotten.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lori Rosenberger, stepchildren Jesse and Zack Barker, father Joseph Rosenberger, brother Michael (Amy) Rosenberger, sisters Linda Rosenberger and Elaine Byrom, stepsisters Laura Rosenberger and Susan Horgan, stepbrother Jimmy Maher and nieces and nephews Kayli, Marissa, Michael, and Brenden.
He was preceded in death by his mother Joan Dussault and sister Terry Rasmussen.
A gathering for family and friends will be held on Saturday, September 10th from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm followed by a celebration of life beginning at 6:30 pm at Moss Feaster Funeral Home in Dunedin,
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be directed to Suncoast Hospice.
