Joseph Lawlor's Obituary
Joseph "Joe" Lawlor. Born Nov 12, 1965, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 9, 2024, at the age 58 in Dunedin Fl. after a heroic battle with cancer. Joe was born in Michigan to the late parents Irene and Robert Lawlor. He has a twin brother Dr. John Lawlor and wife Jamie, his Sister Linda Sue MacLellan and Husband Jim and Joe’s Husband Kevin Sharrow. Meeting over 35 years ago here in Florida. It simply took a beach and a dozen roses to capture Kevins heart, marrying in 2020 They remain partners and best friends. The world has lost a strong, handsome, quiet, and christian human being. Joe worked 20 plus years in hotel management @ holiday inn harbourside Indian Rocks beach. Joe made so many lifelong friendships through his job. Joe babysat dogs for friends. He helped more than one friend thru the complicated nature of cancer and death. Joe loved flowers; roses were his favorite. Joes favorite space was the screened porch at he and Kevin’s home beneath a colorful chandelier, a Marlboro in one hand and a VO in the other. Donations in Joes honor can be made to the American Cancer society or a charity of your choice. A Celebration of Life will be held for Joseph on Friday April 26, 2024 3pm - 5pm, in the Holiday inn Harbourside, 401 2nd St, Indian Rocks Beach, FL. Family and friends are all welcome to attend.
