We met Karen through her best friend, my sister-in-law, Arlene Celli. We will cherish the times we spent with she and Mike and then with she and Tom. We have spent the last 10 years wintering in Florida and we have been included in whatever was going on whether it was GNO or dominos. I know we will miss her humor, opinions and her presence terribly. Our sincere condolences to her family.

We didn't know Karen very well, but from the first time we met Karen, she felt like family. So full of life and love. Karen was an amazing lady and what a tribute to her, her beautiful children Kim and Michael and grandsons. I know she enriched many lives as a Mother, Grandmother, Wife, Companion, Sister and dear friend to many. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers and her life is a celebration. Much love and hugs, Carlen and Bob
Karen and I met at age 4 when we were in the Kindergarten. We became instant friends and our friendship has grown over all these years. I remember how happy she felt when she gave birth to her beautiful daughter, Kim, and equally so when Michael came along, of which I am proud to be his Godmother. In the early 70's, I was saddened, but excited for Karen, when the family packed up for a new life and adventure in Florida. But even with the many miles between us, we were always able to get together every year and it seemed like we just saw each other yesterday. Karen was a very caring person always thinking about her family and friends first. I will never forget how she stayed by my side at a time when I needed her support the most. She once gave me a gift with a hand written note which read: "Friendship is the greatest gift one person can give to another and I will always treasure our gifts to each other. Even though we are miles apart, I will always feel that you are near to me."
Karen, my friend, my sister, I will miss you always.
Love Peggy
Karen was always upbeat and enjoyed all of the B&B trips. We always miss having her in our "house".
She definitely was a social butterfly - knowing just about everyone that belonged to Countryside.
We will always miss her personality and quick humor.
