Karen M. Nevins Clements' Obituary
Karen Margaret Nevins Clements passed away peacefully, at her home, in Oldsmar, FL, on September 12, 2016 surrounded by family.
Karen was born November 14, 1946 in Paterson, NJ. She was raised in Wayne, NJ and attended Wayne Valley Senior High School. In 1972 her family moved to Clearwater, Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael R. Clements. She is survived by her brother, Edward F. Nevins of Bedminster, NJ, her daughter, Kim M. Poet of Boston, MA, her son Michael M. Clements of Washington DC, her grandsons, Steven E. Daniel and Aison A. Clements in addition to her partner, Thomas Bannen.
Karen was an avid golfer and had traveled extensively to 45 countries. She will be missed by her family and friends. We will fondly remember her with her favorite expression “Celebrate Life”. Karen also says “Vote for Hillary!”
A celebration of life will be held at MossFeaster Funeral Home, 1320 Main St, Dunedin, FL, 34698 on Friday, September 16, 2016, at 5:00PM. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to www.SuncoastHospice.org.
