So many great memories with you Uncle Ken. Fun times from us all going to the cottage at the Lake to when Steve and I came to visit you in Florida when we were on our honeymoon, and everything in between. You’ll be missed ❤️ xoxo Deb
It was a sincere honor to visit and be with Ken and his lovely wife, while on my travels to Florida from Pennsylvania. Being the Worshipful Master of Kingsbury Masonic Lodge in 2015, I drove to Ken's home and introduced myself, whereas he and his wife welcomed me in with warmth and brotherly love. We sat, talked and then agreed to go to a local Masonic lodge for fellowship for the evening. Neither he or I had ever been to the lodge we attended. We were welcomed as if we had gone there forever. A great night we had. For only meeting him once and learning who he was turned out to be an inspiration for me. His brother Mike is just as caring and kind. I am happy that I know Mike and that I knew Ken. Farewell, my Brother. Rest in His loving arms in comfort.
I have a ton of great memories of uncle Ken! I remember you shooting off fireworks off from the dock at the lake to taking me along on some of your interviews with some of the greatest boxers to ever fight. I still have all the autographs you got me from Larry Holmes to Ray (boom boom) Mancini and Billy Soose. I'm really glad we got together for lunch when we came down to Clearwater a few years ago. You're in a much better place now...so enjoy the ever after you deserve it. You were one of the greats. I'll miss you...until we meet again. Love ya, Pierre

My brother Ken was politically active in the early years of his marriage and living in his North Scranton area of Parker St. He served for several years as a judge of elections. When he later moved to Throop, Pa. he was elected to the Throop borough council where he was later elected to serve as borough council president.
He was first employed as a printer for The Scranton Times newspaper in Scranton, PA. where he was later promoted to the newsroom as a neighborhood correspondent and was later promoted to the sports department where he covered professional boxing matches and boxers like heavyweight champ Larry Holmes. He also covered all other sporting events.
When Ken retired from The Times he became a member of The Times 50-year club.
Ken was also a 30 year member of Kingsbury Lodge, F. & A. M., Olyphant, PA.
Ken was a member of the class of June 1952, Girard College, Philadelphia, PA.
Farewell my brother until me meet again!

Dad, I miss you every day. Your presence is missed. I am Grateful you are now in peace in a better place. Where all the limits on your life are now gone. You will not be alone there and you can enjoy that sweet reunion.
I will remember you always as the only person I could have a real difference of opinion and we agreed to disagree. That happened many years ago. We agreed on much. I miss your advice especially now. But I will pray on it.
The grill out 's with your wonderful foil warped potatoes with the secret ingredient. You cooked on the grill very well. sitting outside just enjoying the day.
The energy in you voice after a good bowling legume game.
During the last year movie night with diner and snacks. Pizza night and your favoring Honey barque wings. How you found out you loved Cran-pinapple drink. How you loved how Mia would sit at your feet and little Guy on the arm of recliner.
