Kenneth J. Mazak's Obituary
Kenneth J. Mazak, 88, Safety Harbor, Florida, formerly Throop, Pennsylvania, died on January 9th, after a brief illness. He was surrounded by his children and grandchildren at the time of his death. Ken was born on May 12, 1934, he was preceded in death by his parents, Michael Mazak and Mildred (Mutushack) Mazak, his sister Bernadine (Mazak) Young and his Great Granddaughter Emilee Rose DeMatteo.
Ken was a graduate of Girard College. Ken is a veteran from the Korean War; prior to retiring he had been a Sportswriter for the Scranton Times Newspaper. Ken loved spending time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed his bowling leagues.
He is survived by his wife Rowena (Farmer) Mazak. His son Kenneth Mazak II, and his daughters, Kimberly (Mazak) DeMatteo, (Michael), son-in-law, and Karen Mazak, Safety Harbor, FL. He is also survived by his 5 grandsons, Michael II, Samuel, Nicholas, Joseph, and Patrick, all of Safety Harbor, FL. His brother Michael Mazak and sister Gail (Mazak) Quinn and several nieces and nephews.
