L. Duke Tieman's Obituary
Lawrence "Duke" Tieman, 89, of Clearwater, FL passed away Monday, July 25, 2022 at Morton Plant Hospital. Duke was born May 4, 1933 in Hammond, IN to Arthur and May (Koch) who have preceded him in death. Duke and his "Bride" were members of Grace Lutheran Church, Clearwater and they spent the younger part of their lives on beloved carnivals and cruises. Besides his parents, Duke is preceded in death by his "Bride" Geneva in 2016 after 62 years of marriage; a daughter, Linda D. Wilson, adopted son, Britton A. and grandsons, Steven and Chris.
Duke is survived by 2 sons, Michael and Carl and numerous grand and great-grandchildren whom he was blessed with. His last request was that his soul will go to God and his body be cremated and the remains placed in the lovely hallowed Grace Lutheran Garden.
No flowers, contributions to be made to Grace Lutheran Church, 1812 N. Highland Ave, Clearwater, FL 33755.
A Celebration of Life will be at church in the near future.
