Lawrence Phillip Duff's Obituary
Lawrence Phillip Duff, 83, of Palm Harbor, Florida, passed August 8, 2016. Lawrence served his country in the US Airforce during the Korean War (1951-1954). Lawrence owned and operated the Duff Plumbing Company in Florida from 1971 until he retired in 1996. He learned his trade from his father and uncles in Ohio.
Lawrence’s passion was rescuing dogs. He was very devoted to his family friends. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed repairing and creating things in his garage.
Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents, Orville R. and Ida Pearl Duff; uncles, Kenneth, Winfred and Robert Duff; dear friend, Lowell Darrell and his beloved dog, Kelly.
Lawrence is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Susie K. (Taylor) Duff; son, Mark L. Duff; daughter, Paula S. Duff; daughter-in-law, Rae Ellen Rourke; brothers, Lee O. (Susan) Duff and family, Larry W. (Joyce) Duff and family; Aunt, Elois Duff and family; The Taylor sisters and families; dear friends, Beverly Keegan and family; Janet Darrell and family.
